Dr. Lilian Anomnachi
Executive Director
Dr. Lilian Anomnachi is a global health development expert with over 20 years’ experience in clinical health, technical programming across various health diseases areas including HIV, Malaria, SRH, MNCH, Nutrition, TB, CVD, NCDs, communication, research and behavior change, new business development and health systems strengthening with focus on Primary Health Care.
She currently serves as the Executive Director, TAConnect, where she oversees a portfolio of about $200m, spanning Primary Healthcare (PHC) systems' performance and increase the uptake of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) and Malaria reaching over 50,000 direct beneficiaries’.
Dr. Lilian is an alumnus of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Baltimore MD, USA and Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, Sokoto State, Nigeria with several professional memberships.
Dr. Layi Jaiyeola
Technical Director
Dr Layi Jaiyeola is a Public Heath Physician and health development expert with over 15 years’ experience in RMNCH and HIV programs in both public and private health sectors and across three major international development organizations. He started his career with fhi360 under the GHAIN and SIDHAS projects as a Community Health Specialist and later rose to Senior Technical Officer for Prevention, Care and Treatment before joining Pathfinder International as a Senior Technical Advisor for PMTCT where he served as the Technical Lead for the USAID funded PMTCT private sector grant. He later joined Jhpiego as a Project Director of Global Projects, where he provided leadership and oversight for two global awards by BMGF and Unitaid: The Expanded Family Planning Choices and HIV Self Testing Africa Projects. Dr. Layi holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree and a Master’s in public health and currently serves as Technical Director at TAConnect.
Abosede Asabazele
Subawards Manager
Abosede Asabazele is a finance and grants specialist over 13 years’ experience in providing grant management, contract administration and compliance strategies, managing budgets, capacity building and systems strengthening for local NGO’s, Technical Service Organizations and International Organizations. Before joining TAConnect, Abosede was the Contract Manager for the Global Fund funded project Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH), she also worked with Creative Associates International as the Grants Manager for the Northern Education Initiative Plus Project (NEI+) and with Family Health International (FHI360) as the Senior Contract and Grants Officer for the Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services (SIDHAS)project. Abosede has a master’s in business administration from Ahmadu Bello University and is also a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Damilola Olaniyan
M&E Manager
Damilola Olaniyan is a M&E Specialist with over 6 years’ experience in the development sector spanning Monitoring & Evaluation, Management Information Systems, Health Informatics, Analytics & Visualization, and Systems Strengthening. He served as a Technical Assistant at Abt Associates and at Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation (HSDF) as a Performance Management Analyst. He also worked as the M&E Advisor for the Globalfund RSSH project led by Management Sciences for Health in Nigeria. Damilola has worked with both local and international development organisations such as JICA, PharmAccess Foundation, Save The Children, and IAR&T. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Demography & Social Statistics at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, a Master of Public Health in Medical Demography at the University of Ibadan Nigeria.
Falilat Raji
Program Analyst
Falilat is a Program and Admin Associate at TAConnect with over 6years’ experience spanning program implementation, program management and administration. She has gained experience across all the HRH pipeline (production, recruitment, deployment, and retention) and worked with regulatory bodies such as Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria to support Health Training Institutions (HTIs) to achieve and maintain accreditation. Falilat holds a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Ahmadu Bello university, Zaria and master’s degrees in health economics and development studies from Bayero University Kano.
Balarabe Gaya
Strategic Engagement Director
Balarabe Gaya is an experienced program manager, human resource for health and M&E Specialist with over 26 years’ experience working with government and donor funded development programs. Balarabe’s expertise spans health system strengthening, building capacity in community-level delivery of integrated health services and Reproductive, Maternal, New-born and Child health and Nutrition, HIV prevention, care, and Treatment among others. He has served in various leadership capacities amongst which are National Capacity and Quality Adviser, DAI, Nigeria, State Team Leader, Kano, DFID-Women for Health Project, Monitoring Evaluation Technical Advisor and USAID-funded Measure Evaluation, Kano, Nigeria. Balarabe holds a master’s degree in Health Planning and Management and he is a Fellow of the West African College of Nursing.
Innocent Profile
Deputy Director - Finance, Administration and Operations
Innocent Philips is a skilled accountant and financial professional with more than 15 years of experience managing finance, operations, and administration of complex, multifaceted donor-funded development programs in Nigeria, Mozambique and Cameroon. He has managed portfolios of up to $750 million and worked with an array of international donors, including USAID, CDC, World Bank, DFID, GF, BMGF and United Nation Agencies. Over the course of his career, he has designed and managed program budgets, supervised funds management and streamlined and overseen accurate financial processes. He has also managed country and field office operations in Nigeria, including office start-up, procurements, budget management and reporting in compliance with local law and US government rules, regulations, and practices.
Adebanjo Adetosoye
Program Manager
Adebanjo Adetosoye Moses is the Program Manager at TA Connect. He is a certified Program Manager and public health expert with over 12 years’ experience designing and managing program management life cycle of large-scale and complex multi-million-dollar development and humanitarian projects. His experience cuts across HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment, OVC, Gender, MNCH, SRH, OVC, economic empowerment, Livelihood support, ICT4Dev, and Health System Strengthening interventions. He has a Master of Public Health degree from University of Ibadan and a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Adetosoye brings to the TAConnect team his wealth of Knowledge and expertise in program design and management, portfolio management, stakeholders’ management, risk management, Knowledge management and project monitoring and evaluation. Adetosoye is also a Carrington Fellow and Mandela Washington Fellowship with professional certification in Civic Leadership and Leadership and Management in Health.
Sunday James
KM & Communications Specialist
Sunday James is a Development Communications and Knowledge Management specialist with over 6 years of proven experience in planning, designing, and leading the coordination of media, communications, and knowledge management efforts across diverse international donor-funded projects. He possesses substantial experience in journalism and technical background in utilizing project documentation to develop visually appealing communication and Knowledge management products to highlight project achievements, increase project visibility and learning for dissemination across different platforms and different audiences, holding a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from Bayero University, Kano, a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Bayero University Kano and a Higher National Diploma in mass communication from Kaduna Polytechnic. Sunday has worked with both local and international NGOs such as the Centre for International Health Education and Biosecurity at the Maryland Global Initiative Corporation, an affiliate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore-Nigeria Program Office as Head of Communications and Public Relations. He also worked at eHealth Africa as a Communications Coordinator and the Centre for Community Development and Research Network as a Communications and Knowledge management Specialist He is currently leading the KM and Communications component of all TAConnect investments and optimizing communications infrastructure to achieve high-impact integrated campaigns for the organization.
