As part of the onboarding and coordination process for its newly awarded Bloomberg Philanthropies supported grant, TAConnect undertook a strategic engagement with the Borno State Agency for Coordination of Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Response to advance alignment, regulatory compliance, and implementation readiness.
During the meeting, the Agency sought a comprehensive understanding of TAConnect’s mandate, implementation approach, and the value the organization intends to bring to Borno State’s health system. In his presentation, Dr. Jaiyeola outlined TAConnect’s role as a technical assistant and service delivery partner, emphasizing its experience in strengthening government-led health systems through evidence-based, context-specific interventions.
This engagement marks a critical milestone in TAConnect’s entry into Borno State under the Bloomberg Philanthropies–supported initiative. It reinforces TAConnect’s commitment to principled partnerships, government alignment, and sustainable health systems strengthening, ensuring that investments translate into measurable, locally owned impact.
