John Ushahemba Pilaku is a Fellow Certified National Accountant and an accomplished finance and operations leader with more than 18 years of experience managing large-scale donor-funded budgets across health, nutrition, and governance sectors. As Chairman of TAConnect’s HR and Operations Committee and a member of the Audit and Finance Committee, he provides leadership in strengthening organizational systems, human resources, and fiscal accountability.
Mr. Pilaku has held senior roles including Head of Operations at Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Director of Finance and Grants at Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation, and Director of Finance and Administration at Population Council. He has managed budgets exceeding $150 million and led transitions to digital financial systems.
