RMNCHN Innovations & Health Reform Acceleration

Postpartum Haemorrhage (PPH) remains the leading direct cause of maternal mortality in Nigeria, accounting for nearly one-quarter (23-25%) of all maternal deaths. Despite increased facility deliveries and introduction of evidence-based interventions, many facilities still lack capacity for early detection and timely management of PPH.

Programme Overview

TAConnect is driving innovative, evidence-based maternal and newborn health solutions across seven states at both Primary and Secondary levels of care, supporting improvement of MNH outcomes through adoption and scale of MNH innovations (G-ANC, MMS, PPH bundle and Maternal Azithromycin) along the continuum of care.

Improve MNH outcomes through adoption and scale of MNH innovations at both Primary and Secondary levels of care, aligned with MAMII framework and EPMM Roadmap.
