TA Connect Participates in Validation of Revised NHMIS Tools

TA Connect joined key stakeholders at the Department of Health Planning, Research, and Statistics (DHPRS) validation meeting for the revised 2019 National Health Management Information System (NHMIS) tools. The validation is in line with the best global practices, which precedes the pilot and deployment of the tools across the country. The three-day exercise, held from February 24–26, 2025, at Sandralia Hotel, Abuja, brought together government agencies, development partners, and health data experts to review and finalize updates to the NHMIS tools, ensuring they align with evolving healthcare needs and data reporting standards.

As a committed partner in contributing to the acceleration of maternal and newborn health innovations and strengthening health data systems, TA Connect actively contributed to the discussions, offering technical insights to enhance the usability and effectiveness of the revised tools. Our participation underscores our dedication to improving data quality, streamlining reporting, and supporting evidence-based decision-making in Nigeria’s healthcare system.

The revised NHMIS tools will play a crucial role in optimizing health data collection, analysis, and reporting across all levels of care. TA Connect remains steadfast in its mission to support data-driven health system strengthening and will continue collaborating with stakeholders to advance efficient and reliable health information systems in Nigeria.
